The region offers year-round sunshine, access to outdoor recreation including hiking in Franklin Mountains State Park, and a rich blend of Southwestern and Mexican cultural heritage. Families benefit from a range of public and private school options, and the city's proximity to New Mexico and the greater Chihuahuan Desert makes it a compelling destination for those who value wide-open spaces and an authentic border-region lifestyle.
