Practice Highlights
- Full-time, day-shift position on a dedicated Telemetry unit
- Direct clinical patient care with per-shift responsibility for assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized nursing care plans

- Participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergency and disaster situations

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred; telemetry or cardiac step-down background is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process within a prescribed medical regimen
