About the Community
El Paso sits at the far western tip of Texas along the Rio Grande, bordered by New Mexico to the north and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico to the south — a uniquely bicultural metropolitan area of nearly 900,000 residents. The city offers a low cost of living relative to other major Texas metros, abundant sunshine, and easy access to the Franklin Mountains State Park, White Sands National Park, and the broader Chihuahuan Desert landscape. El Paso's strong military presence (Fort Bliss), diverse dining and arts scene, and affordable housing make it a compelling destination for clinicians seeking a vibrant community without the cost or congestion of larger urban centers.
