Doctors Hospital of Manteca is recruiting a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) to join its respiratory care team in Manteca, California. Practice Highlights
- Part-time position with a rotating shift schedule
- Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations under physician direction
- Clinical scope includes medical gas administration, medication administration, patient assessment, arterial and venous blood gas sampling and analysis, and arterial line cannulation
- Performs complete pulmonary function testing (PFT) and assists with bronchoscopy procedures
- Equipment and supply management responsibilities integrated into daily workflow
- Documents respiratory care in the EMR and updates the multidisciplinary plan of care
- Participates in data collection for process improvement, monitoring, and reporting
- Reports to the Respiratory Manager/Director within a department that supports ICU/CCU, emergency, and general inpatient services
- Hospital features private patient rooms, expanded and enhanced imaging services, emergency department, pharmacy, and ICU/CCU
- Medical staff of more than 150 physicians; total workforce exceeds 500 employees
- Fully accredited by The Joint Commission
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Active California RCP license or equivalent state licensure required
- Minimum one year of experience with complete pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopy assisting
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) credential preferred
