Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; a valid CNA or PCA/PCT certificate is an accepted equivalent
- Current CPR certification required
- EKG training required for this cardiac unit (training available)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and the healthcare team
- Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic and sterile technique, and infection control best practices
- Basic computer skills required
- Preferred: one year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting
- Preferred: CNA or LNA certification from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
