Qualifications
- Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Prior experience: none required; 6 months of acute care and/or previous clinical experience preferred
- Completion of a nursing assistant program required
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required; if Red Cross-certified at hire, American Heart Association certification must be obtained within 60 days
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer
- Prior clerical or customer service experience with Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) training in a clinical setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate computer-driven patient care equipment; effective interpersonal and communication skills required
- E-Verify participant; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
