<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Serve as SNF Medical Director in full compliance with CMS F-Tag 841 requirements, with organizational infrastructure to support that role</li> <li>Provide physician oversight across the facility: clinical leadership, policy review, and assurance of attending coverage continuity</li> <li>Chair the Quality Assurance &amp; Performance Improvement (QAPI) committee</li> <li>Lead infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, and CMS / state survey readiness initiatives</li> <li>Recruit, mentor, and supervise attending physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) at the facility</li> <li>Maintain an active clinical attending caseload alongside medical director duties — this is a hybrid clinical-leadership role, not purely administrative</li> <li>Monday–Friday schedule; on-call coverage is required</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Board certification (ABIM, ABFM, or ABIM Geriatric Medicine) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics required</li> <li>Prior SNF or long-term care clinical experience required</li> <li>CMD (Certified Medical Director, AMDA) credential preferred; candidates willing to obtain within 24 months of hire are considered</li> <li>Demonstrated clinical leadership experience, including committee participation and regulatory familiarity (CMS, state survey processes)</li> <li>Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain; active DEA registration where applicable</li> </ul>
