A full-time Behavioral Health Psychologist opportunity is available in Johnson City, Tennessee, serving residents within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Practice Highlights

  • Provide individual psychotherapy and behavioral health services to SNF residents
  • Conduct psychological assessments, cognitive screenings (MoCA, MMSE), and decisional-capacity evaluations
  • Treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, dementia-related behaviors, and grief
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, PMHNPs, nursing, social work, and therapy teams on integrated behavioral care plans
  • Document in facility EMR per Medicare Part B billing standards (CPT 90791, 90832, 90834, 90837, 96130–96139)

Qualifications

  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Active Tennessee psychology license for independent practice (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience with geriatric and long-term care populations strongly preferred
  • Comfort working with cognitive impairment, end-of-life care, and behavioral disturbance
  • DEA registration where applicable
