Practice Highlights
- Provide individual psychotherapy and behavioral health services to SNF residents
- Conduct psychological assessments, cognitive screenings (MoCA, MMSE), and decisional-capacity evaluations
- Treat depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, dementia-related behaviors, and grief
- Collaborate with attending physicians, PMHNPs, nursing, social work, and therapy teams on integrated behavioral care plans
- Document in facility EMR per Medicare Part B billing standards (CPT 90791, 90832, 90834, 90837, 96130–96139)
Qualifications
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Active Tennessee psychology license for independent practice (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with geriatric and long-term care populations strongly preferred
- Comfort working with cognitive impairment, end-of-life care, and behavioral disturbance
- DEA registration where applicable
