A full-time Night Shift ICU Intensivist APP opportunity is available at a 189-bed, not-for-profit Level III Trauma Center in Greenville, Texas — located just northeast of Dallas in the growing eastern DFW corridor. This critical care role is ideal for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or experienced APP ready to practice with autonomy in a high-acuity environment with strong physician collaboration.

Practice Highlights
- Night shift ICU coverage with 12-hour shifts
- Approximately 14 shifts per month
- Two weekends per month required; holiday coverage rotation included
- 16-bed ICU with high-acuity patient population
- Level III Trauma Center exposure with comprehensive surgical services
- ICU admissions and ongoing management of critically ill patients
- Code response and assistance
- Independent performance of procedures including intubations, central lines, and arterial lines
- Collaboration with 24-hour intensivist physician coverage
- Support for hospital admissions as needed
- Strong physician leadership support and patient-centered culture
Qualifications
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) preferred; experienced APPs with a strong ICU background also considered
- Prior ICU or critical care experience strongly preferred
- Night shift experience preferred
- Comfortable practicing with clinical autonomy in a fast-paced critical care setting
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skill set required
