<p>A hospital-based cancer center in Marshfield, Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for an ongoing locum tenens engagement with an immediate start date. The position was created to cover a long-term vacancy and carries genuine continuity — this is not a short-term fill. Providers who can commit to 2–3 weeks per month are strongly encouraged to apply, and the schedule structure supports both in-state and out-of-state clinicians. The scope is substantive, spanning acute leukemia, inpatient chemotherapy, bone marrow biopsies, and post-transplant/CAR-T follow-up care.</p>

<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Hospital-based cancer center with a collaborative team of 3 attending Hematology/Oncology physicians and 3 advanced practice providers</li> <li>Dual inpatient and outpatient care model — daily inpatient rounding plus outpatient clinic</li> <li>Clinical scope includes acute leukemia management, inpatient chemotherapy administration and management, and bone marrow biopsies</li> <li>Post-autologous stem cell transplant follow-up care</li> <li>Post CAR-T therapy follow-up care</li> <li>Call structure: 1:4 beeper call rotation covering Friday 7:30 AM through the following Friday 7:30 AM</li> <li>Call volume is manageable — approximately 5–10 phone consults per call week, with rare in-person callbacks required</li> <li>30-minute response time expectation for call</li> <li>EMR: Cerner</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Board certification or board eligibility in Hematology/Oncology (ABIM)</li> <li>Completion of a Hematology/Oncology fellowship following Internal Medicine residency</li> <li>Demonstrated experience performing bone marrow biopsies — required procedural competency</li> <li>Comfort managing the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient hematologic and oncologic conditions, including acute leukemia and post-transplant/CAR-T patients</li> <li>Active Wisconsin medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start</li> </ul>
