Practice Highlights
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Deliver skilled OT interventions focused on functional mobility, ADLs, and discharge readiness
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab staff, patients, and families as part of an interdisciplinary care team
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and thoroughly
- Manage a daily caseload and prioritize patient needs in an acute inpatient setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Florida, or eligibility to obtain
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
- Acute care, inpatient, rehab, or hospital-based experience preferred
- BLS certification required within 30 days of start date
- Must be available for an onsite interview
