<p>This is a Personal Care Aide (Caregiver) opportunity based in Lake Placid, Florida, supporting home-based clients across Lake Placid and the surrounding areas. <h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Home-based care setting — all services delivered in clients' private residences across Lake Placid and surrounding communities</li> <li>One-on-one client assignments focused on supporting independence and quality of life at home</li> <li>Personal care duties include bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation assistance, and medication reminders</li> <li>Household support tasks include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments or errands</li> <li>Clinical monitoring responsibilities include documenting client condition, vital signs, and incidents using an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining a safe home environment, operating medical equipment appropriately, and responding promptly to client needs</li> <li>Diverse client population spanning all ages, backgrounds, and care needs</li> <li>Part of a post-acute care network with national hospital, physician, and family partnerships</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Current, valid driver's license with active vehicle insurance and reliable personal transportation, or demonstrated access to public transit</li> <li>Current CPR certification required at time of hire</li> <li>Florida state requirement: completion of 40-hour AHCA-mandated training program, or passing score on the AHCA competency examination</li> <li>Ability to work flexible hours across PRN shifts</li> <li>Ability to function effectively in any home environment regardless of client age, background, disability status, or financial condition</li> <li>Six or more months of prior home care experience preferred</li> </ul>
