<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Full-scope advanced respiratory care: ventilator management, suctioning, artificial airway care, bedside spirometry, ABG collection and interpretation, chest X-ray interpretation, and resuscitation</li> <li>Broad therapeutic modality delivery: IPPB, Incentive Spirometry, EZ-PAP, HHN treatments, chest physiotherapy, aerosol treatments, and oxygen therapy</li> <li>Diagnostic cardiopulmonary testing suite: EKGs, EEGs, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Mobile Cardiac Telemetry, Holter Monitor, and Event Monitor hookups</li> <li>Patient education responsibilities including smoking cessation counseling and asthma education</li> <li>EMR-based documentation with emphasis on accuracy and interdisciplinary communication</li> <li>Collaborative team model: respiratory therapists work directly alongside physicians, nurses, and a full interdisciplinary care team</li> <li>Community-based regional health system serving the San Luis Valley — a rural catchment area where each clinician carries meaningful clinical impact</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program</li> <li>NBRC credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)</li> <li>Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist license in good standing</li> <li>Current BLS certification required at time of hire</li> <li>ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within six months of hire</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to perform both basic and advanced respiratory care procedures across the full scope described above</li> <li>Willingness to relocate to the Alamosa, Colorado area (rural community)</li> </ul>
