<p>This contract Health Technician role places a skilled occupational health clinician on-site at a major petroleum refinery in the Greater Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. The position supports a full-service industrial medical clinic responsible for injury care, regulatory testing, and workforce health surveillance across a high-acuity industrial environment. The schedule is a consistent Monday–Friday day shift with no evenings, weekends, or on-call obligations — a rare combination of clinical variety and schedule predictability in the occupational health space.</p>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Minimum of one year of experience as a Health Technician, Occupational Health Technician, Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic — experience must be within the last two years</li> <li>DOT Certified Drug &amp; Alcohol Collection Certification required</li> <li>Certification in Drug &amp; Alcohol Collections (A&amp;D) required</li> <li>Demonstrated competency in hearing conservation testing, respirator fit testing, pulmonary function testing, EKG administration, vision screening, and urine dipstick testing</li> <li>Phlebotomy experience required</li> <li>FormFox platform experience required</li> <li>Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required</li> <li>Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure regulatory compliance</li> </ul>
