<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM</li> <li>Operating room setting with a full spectrum of surgical procedures requiring scrub tech support</li> <li>Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, scrubbing in to assist surgeons, and upholding a sterile field throughout all procedures</li> <li>Hands-on involvement in equipment handling, disinfection protocols, and quality control measures</li> <li>Preferred experience with endoscopes and specialized surgical instrumentation</li> <li>High-volume or specialized surgical department environment — prior experience in similar settings is a plus</li> <li>Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds; role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and potentially hazardous materials consistent with a standard OR environment</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Certification in Surgical Technology (CST) — required</li> <li>Graduate of an accredited surgical technology certification program</li> <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in a specialized surgical setting</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association — required</li> <li>Demonstrated competency in surgical instrument handling, sterile technique, disinfection, and quality control</li> <li>Strong organizational skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to adapt to changing procedures and environments</li> <li>Prior experience with endoscopes and high-volume surgical departments preferred</li> </ul>
