About the Community

Mammoth Lakes sits at roughly 8,000 feet in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, offering a lifestyle that is genuinely difficult to match — world-class skiing and snowboarding at Mammoth Mountain, year-round hiking and climbing in the Inyo National Forest, and access to iconic destinations including Yosemite National Park and the John Muir Wilderness. The town is a tight-knit mountain community with a vibrant outdoor culture, excellent dining, and a pace of life that draws clinicians who want their time outside the OR to be as rewarding as their time inside it. Reno, Nevada is accessible to the north, and Los Angeles is approximately five hours south, providing regional connectivity without sacrificing the mountain setting.
