As New Mexico's second-largest city, Las Cruces combines a vibrant university-town culture anchored by New Mexico State University with a low cost of living, excellent outdoor recreation, and easy access to El Paso, Texas, just 45 miles to the south. The region's rich blend of Southwestern and Hispanic heritage, thriving local food scene, and proximity to White Sands National Park make it a compelling destination for physicians seeking both professional purpose and quality of life.
