Las Vegas is far more than its famous Strip — it is a rapidly expanding metropolitan area of nearly 2.3 million residents with a robust suburban infrastructure, highly rated master-planned communities, and a cost of living that outperforms most major U.S. cities, amplified by Nevada's complete absence of state income tax. Outdoor enthusiasts are within an hour of Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead, and Mount Charleston, with world-class skiing at Brian Head and easy access to Zion and the Grand Canyon. The city offers a diverse dining and arts scene, strong private and public school options, and a year-round warm climate that draws physicians seeking both professional opportunity and quality of life.
