About the Community
Little Rock is Arkansas's capital city and largest metropolitan area, offering a low cost of living relative to peer cities, highly regarded public and private schools, and a vibrant downtown riverfront district along the Arkansas River. The city provides easy access to outdoor recreation across the Ouachita and Ozark regions — hiking, fishing, and lake activities are within a short drive — while still delivering the dining, arts, and cultural amenities of a mid-sized capital city. For physicians relocating from higher cost-of-living markets, Little Rock consistently ranks among the most affordable metros in the South.
